Due to many requests and messages on Facebook and after having talked to Dan’s (Davidoff) family about this, Thunderstruck will be releasing a Special Edition Limited DVD of the DAN DAVIDOFF TRIBUTE VIDEO which we showed in Revelstoke in April. Proceeds from the sale of these DVDs will go to the Dan Davidoff Memorial Fund for avalanche education and safety in Dan’s name! His mother and daughter were both present at the Revelstoke event and it truly made the evening magical. And after having chatted many times with Dan’s sister, Kelly, we have decided to release this to the public. The release of this special film will accomplish many things, but 2 important things are: 1. Reminding people and introducing people to the amazing personality that The Krazy Canadian rained on friends and family, and 2. Raise funds for avalanche safety and education!
The film is a retrospective look at Dan’s amazing snowmobiling career with Thunderstruck and it also includes lots of funny and in depth interview footage of Dan filmed a few years back. The DVD will also include much more interview footage with Dan that not even his family or friends have seen! In all, the film is around 54 minutes and the extras will be about 15 minutes…
