News Updates:
Thunderstruck 6 is well into digitization phase. For the un-initiated, this means the hours and hours of watching the raw footage shot all year and editing it into the smaller clips you see in the movie. I will be starting special effects next week and editing will begin in about 3 weeks.
The TS6 cover artwork is done and looks great. You know I love the “BIG PICTURE” type shots for the cover and we will be releasing the artwork soon so keep watching here!
This week I will be sending a couple Gigs of edited footage to Jeff Aiello from Team Summit Productions. Jeff, as he has for our last 2 major releases TS4 and TS5, will be editing the Intro and Teaser for TS6. We are VERY excited for this as Jeff is the best in the biz! He has e-mailed me several times saying the treatments he has prepared for the TS6 intro will blow people’s minds!
This website, behind the scenes, is undergoing some awesome changes that will be revealed with the release of TS6. Some will be released sooner, for instance the TEASER pages, so watch for them!
We are currently working on our new clothing line. FINALLY! some of you say! Me too! We will have 5 styles of Women’s shirts and 4 for men also. Also, new hats, new colors, kid’s clothing, etc!
The soundtrack for TS6 is almost complete. Since a few of our better bands were hijacked by other sledding film companies (much to our chagrin), we have rounded up some amazing new bands that absolutely ROCK! And yes, BLACKLINE will be back with 3 new songs! We are also talking to SKYWYND out of Minneapolis (they were featured on the TS3 soundtrack before they were hijacked). There is big news from this band as they have RECENTLY changed their name to CRASH ANTHEM. . . And watch for them touring with SEVEN MARY THREE this summer. Their new music is AMAZING! Finally, we are working on something NO OTHER FILM COMPANY can touch! Watch for this! You will know it when you see it! It could include: Blackline playing at the Puyallup Snow Show? MP3s available here? Maybe something even better!!!
Our PHOTO gallery this year will be AMAZING! I will be adding over 400 new pictures, most of them never been seen, before July 1. Included in our new gallery is a very special treat: A Thunderstruck Expose by Harris Publishing photographer KORT DUCE. He spent a week with us in British Columbia taking pictures and he did an amazing job! Check out KORT’S WEBSITE HERE.
Our TS6 premiere schedule is complete and will be announced this weekend! Check back soon! Watch for premieres in Helena, Spokane, Ogden, Boise, Minneapolis, Shelby, Lewistown, Castlegar and possibly Missoula.
Watch this fall for another exciting piece of news involving Thunderstruck Films! Dang it, it only gets better and better folks!
Many of you have noticed our forums have been inundated with spammers. We are taking care of this currently and soon should be 100% spam free!
